Lesley D Williams

Co Founder

Biography

Lesley Williams is a director of the Impact Hub Association Board, founder and managing director of Impact Hub Johannesburg, a co-working space to support people to take ownership of tackling South Africa’s most pressing issues in an entrepreneurial way. Lesley designs and facilitates dialogue, learning and change processes with a focus on shaping the future of business and its role in social innovation. With over 15 years of international experience in the Impact Economy, she has been with the Impact Hub network since 2006 in various roles from member to host, to cofounder to Association Board Member to leading development of the Africa Advisory Council. In 2015 she became a recipient of an Unashamedly Ethical Award in the Business Category and in 2011 she was selected onto the list of the Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans.

Lana Lovasic

Co Founder

Biography

Lana is an Economic Development Practitioner and co founder of Simanye Group, a business offering Black Economic Empowerment  and Economic Development Consulting, as well as implementation of projects in the Social Enterprise space. She has varied experience in international investment and finance, marketing, education policy and management, and behavioral research. Lana holds an MBA from University of Geneva focused on Social Enterprise during which she was co-president of Net Impact Geneva.

Alana Bond

Co Founder

Biography

Alana is a subject matter expert on B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment), transformation and economic development. She co-founded the Simanye Group and has over a decade of business strategy consulting experience, as well as extensive experience in the areas of job creation, procurement, and economic and enterprise development. Alana has a Bachelor of Business Science degree completed with Honours in Finance from the University of Cape Town, where she was on the Deans’ Merit List, was selected for the Golden Key Society and won the Class Medal for Taxation I, for which she received over 90%.

 

Katleho Tsoku

Chief Operating Officer

Biography

Having lived in various countries for over a decade, Katleho returned home to feed her big appetite for entrepreneurship. At the age of 25, Katleho opened up a boutique restaurant, Bliss, in Johannesburg that she conceptualized and managed. This is where her entrepreneurial and business development skills were carved.

Inspired by her experiences as an emerging entrepreneur and her passionate belief that women are vital architects of society, Katleho launched SHE; an accelerator for female entrepreneurs launching businesses that positively impact on women and girls.

Katleho has a deep yearning to play her part in adding value to the entrepreneurial movement in South Africa. She is intrigued by the female entrepreneurship space and the concept of conscious business and this is at the core of what drives all her endeavours.

 

Sabie Ntshakaza

Events Manager

Biography

Sabie started her career in the TV and production industry. After 10 years of rocking it behind the scenes and travelling the world, Sabie turned to social development agencies and quickly fell in love with Impact Hub. She has been instrumental in getting the Hub up and running and now joins the team as the events manager.

Mbali is passionate about every thing in life. She loves people and describes herself as a very humble, kind, loving but straight forward person. In 2016 she studied Early Childhood Development because of her love for children and now she studying Technical Support.

Cynthia Nothando Zulu is born and raised in Tembisa, she is proud to be the first person in her family to finish school. In 2013 she did office administration at Rosebank College because she just loved working in an office but didn’t finish due to financial hardships, through all that she never gave up. She was so lucky to get a leanership in 2016, there she learned a lot: Sales, Preferential Procurement, Data Capturing and Learnerships Department(Administration).

Cynthia is someone who has high expectations for her results, very confident in her ability to produce, someone who wants to be judged on individual performance, she is determined to do well in her job and have a successful career.
She believes you should use every opportunity to showcase your skills, even if it means you have to clean trains. Have your qualifications, just do it!!!!!
